Sandakan is more than a setting for an event. It is where families meet, local businesses grow and traditions pass between generations.

Heritage that starts a conversation

The Sandakan Heritage Trail connects places including Masjid Jamik, Agnes Keith House, St. Michael’s and All Angels Church and Sam Sing Kung Temple. This diversity gives context to our invitation to meet with curiosity and mutual respect.

Sabah Tourism Board also describes Sandakan as a gateway to the Lower Kinabatangan, with nature attractions around Sepilok and the surrounding area.

Gatherings that fit everyday life

For PROWINS, celebration means more when people feel welcome. That begins with clear information, accessible language, room for families and ways to contribute at different levels.

We want to build relationships with Sandakan’s women, volunteers and businesses through programmes that grow with the community.

Be part of it
